NAYC Packing Info & Schedule

Greetings Catalyst Youth Ministries!!!

Skip to Packing InfoSkip to Schedule

We are super excited to attend NAYC ’19 with all of you! It’s going to be full of valuable information, life changing services and, of course, lots of fun! To help you prepare for this conference, we’ve created a checklist to help you with your packing (see below).

We will meet at the church this Wednesday at 9am. The drive is approximately 6.5 hours, giving us plenty of time to settle into the hotel rooms and change into our evening service attire.

The hotel will provide a free breakfast in the mornings, so we’ll be eating that before we leave for the day sessions. Youth members will receive an allotment of cash for their meals daily. No snacks or other food items will be permitted on the van with the exception of water in resealable bottles.

Dress for during the day and sessions will be casual, but the evening services are dressy.

There will be Apostolic vendors in the stadium with booths selling various items. I’m not sure what all will be there but I thought I’d let you know in case you’d like to bring some personal spending money.

As we finalize our plans and pack our bags, let’s all remember that we are called to a lifestyle of holiness. That holiness should not only dictate how we dress, but should encompass the way we act, talk and all of who we are. 1 Peter 15-16 tells us, “But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.” We represent, not only our own church and Pastor, but all of the Apostolic churches and, most importantly, Jesus. So let’s all strive to be the best examples of Apostolic young people that we can be!

You all are absolutely amazing and I’m thrilled and honored to have the privilege to work with you! I love you all! We’re going to have an awesome time at NAYC ’19!!!

Packing Info

This year for NAYC we are asking that everyone only bring 1 large suitcase and one carry-on sized item. I understand that will be a reduction for some of you, but we should all be able to pack accordingly. The hotel will have clothes irons, blow dryers, and plenty of bedding available so you won’t need to take up space with those items. We can also make a grocery run once we’re in the hotel, so you can just take cash instead chips and cases of Mt Dew.
